Founded in 1954, the Rhode Island Psychological Association (RIPA) endeavors to promote the general welfare and well-being of individuals, families, groups, and society. To achieve this goal, RIPA strives to promote research in all areas of psychology; advance the education, training, and professional development of psychologists; assure the highest standards of ethics, conduct, achievement, and skill; develop and promote the application of scientifically-based psychological principles; present a strong voice for legislative and mental health advocacy; and provide services to the community of psychologists in Rhode Island; and advance the education, training, and professional development of psychologists to serve the growing culturally and linguistically diverse population of our state.

The Trust is proud to recognize the RIPA as a valued participant in our State Endorsement Program. Providing support to state associations and their members is important to us at The Trust.

Through this partnership, RIPA benefits from funding provided by The Trust for continuing education, while members get access to a library of on-demand webinars, state-sponsored workshops, and a variety of insurance programs.
