Mr. Jackson is a seasoned insurance executive whose career spans 48 years in the property and casualty insurance industry. He formally served as President of Sompo International’s US insurance operations in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was responsible for overall financial performance, strategic leadership, business development, and client partnerships. He also served as Vice Chair of the Sompo America Holdings Board, providing governance and strategic oversight for the company’s North American operations.

Prior to joining Sompo, Mr. Jackson held leadership positions with three insurance industry organizations, including Allstate insurance, Crum & Forster, and Royal & Sun Alliance. He has experience across underwriting, operations, distribution, and executive management with broad expertise in corporate governance, risk management, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
Mr. Jackson attended the University of Memphis, where he majored in economics. He has four insurance industry professional designations which reflect his long-standing commitment to professional excellence and continued education.
As a civic and community leader, Mr. Jackson served as a member, and Chair, of the Board of Directors of the McColl Center for Visual Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also chaired the Competition and Advisory Committee for the City of Charlotte. This committee reported to the Mayor and City Council and provided private competition to key city functions and helped manage budgets and promote efficiencies. He is also a past Board member, treasurer, and Finance committee leader for Ballantyne Country Club.
As a member of the TRMS Board of Directors, Mr. Jackson brings nearly five decades of executive leadership experience, a disciplined approach to corporate governance and fiduciary responsibility, and a steadfast commitment to serving clients and stakeholders with integrity, sound judgment, and long-term stewardship.
