
Danika is a Miami/Boston transplant living in New Jersey with heritage roots from Haiti. Her research focuses on sexual violence victimization and perpetration and the role of intoxication and engaging young mothers and their children in health care. Her clinical work involves helping legally involved folks have a successful transition post-incarceration and providing therapeutic services to individuals who have been wrongfully convicted. Despite the demands of grad school, Danika enjoys spending time in her cozy apartment, with loved ones (including her puppy), reading, and cooking.
