About the Author
Dr. Andrea Chisolm is Deputy Director and Chief Development Officer for The Trust,where she oversees Human Resources, Operations, IT, and enterprise risk management while also leading external initiatives to support practicing psychologists and advance The Trust’s Strategic Plan.
She has been instrumental in developing programs like the National Practice Conference, the Business of Practice webinar series, and early career advocacy initiatives. With over 15 years of combined corporate and academic experience, Dr. Chisolm previously served as Program Director and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland, where she led a master’s program in Clinical Psychological Science. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Maryland, College Park, with anticipated graduation in May 2026.
Her academic background and ongoing leadership with the Maryland Psychological Association continue to inform her efforts to support students, early career professionals, and the broader psychological community.
