Krystal Stanley, Ph.D. is a psychologist licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. She received her doctorate from Penn State University and her master’s degree from Winthrop University. Dr. Stanley has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, school settings with adolescents, university counseling centers, and private practice. In 2010, she launched Re-New Psychological Services in Washington, D.C. as a solo practitioner and in 2012 transitioned it to a group private practice. At present, Re-New has four offices across the D.C. Metro area, with a fifth slated to open in May 2017, and more than 25 practitioners of varying disciplines. Dr. Stanley serves as the clinical director, provides supervision to post-docs, and holds a small caseload of clients at Re-New. She also participates in a range of activities supporting her community, including mentoring undergraduate students and participation in local and national professional organizations. In her (limited) free time, Dr. Stanley enjoys baking, spin class, and traveling.
