Nancy S. Molitor
Clinical and Developmental Psychology
Dr. Nancy Molitor is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She is in independent practice in Wilmette, Illinois where she specializes in treating postpartum depression and other mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Molitor is a Past President of The American Psychological Association's (APA’s) Division of Independent Practice (Division 42,) as well as a Past President of the Illinois Psychological Association. Dr. Molitor also serves on the APA Council of Representatives and as a coordinator for the APA Public Education campaign. She is a featured expert on stress and the recession in national and international media outlets such as CNN, NBC-TV, PBS-TV, National Public Radio, The New York Times, and USA Today.
Dr. Molitor was inducted into The National Academies of Practice in Clinical Psychology in 1999 and is a Fellow of the APA. She is the author of numerous professional publications and presentations. Dr. Molitor holds a Ph.D. in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Evanston, Illinois with her husband, Robert Mark, an aviation journalist and consultant.
